Is an enormous iPhone-related event coming to an Apple store near you? According to 9 to 5 Mac, the answer may be ‘yes’. Starting May 8th, Apple will be emailing upgrade-eligible iPhone owners to invite them to swap out their old phone for a new iPhone 5S or 5C, an insider told the blog. The upgrade event will take place in Apple stores across multiple states, and sales reps are already gearing up for the increase in traffic.
